Hi everyone I have recently came across something really unusual and I don't know if this is the new way forward, or a one off. I have mentioned in the past I regularly attend a support group of a kind, for people with disabilities and I was chatting to a guy who had recently applied for PIP. He said he was surprised at how little they had asked on the pack and he showed it to me before posting it. There was around 6 pages and the only question they asked was about his walking ability. He was expected to send that part back and they would then look at sending out a more detailed pack to complete. I have never ever saw this in the past and I am wondering if this is a new ploy or tactic by the DWP to quite possible make it even harder for people to apply, or has this been a genuine mistake? Have you heard of this happening before? Thank You.
