PIP Reassessment

My autistic adult son and I had a telephone assessment in mid August 25 with Health Assessment Advisory Service - Serco, the new provider for the South West region and it was a complete contrast to the previous company. The nurse was patient and was really interested in how his disability affects his daily life. We found out yesterday that he has been awarded both the higher rates for daily living and mobility until June 2029. Previously he was just on standard daily living. I filled out the reassessment forms using the Benefits And Work Guides in early 2024 and it really has been worth the wait. We are both very relieved and happy.
