Apologies for so many questions of late.

I already mentioned I've had to do my UC migration while trying to move home as well as having a PIP review form drop through the door.

I'm struggling to focus on both moving and filling the PIP review form in.

I was told on here I could ask for more time to put my PIP review form in. If I do that...I'll be living in my new place, so I'll have a change of address.

Because I'm due to move, do you think it makes more sense to ask for more time, then fill my form in saying I've moved. Because if I do fill it in now, I'll be in a new address by the time my medical comes around.

I'm moving two days after the date this PIP form has to be returned.

So, I'm not sure what best to do.

  			 				Hi laneif2

Thats a hard one to call, if it is a review, did you keep a copy of your original application, if you did use it as a template and make any changes necessary such as new conditions or medication.

To give you more time ask for an extension, you usually get two weeks but as you are in the middle of working you could ask if they can give you a bit longer to enable you to settle in.

Thanks Gary, I really don't know what to do. I can't believe all this has come at once.

The move.

I was served a section 21 over a year ago, so for the housing organisation to find me a flat just as I'm doing the UC migration, then the PIP form dropping through the door.

It's insane.

The PIP form always takes up all my brain width and has me very stressed until I get the result.

So this on top of moving is mentally exhausting, because the flat has no carpets and all has to be decorated.

I really need all my focus on the PIP form.

If you kept a copy of your previous claim use that as a template and make any amendments, if you did not keep a copy then then tackle one question a day using the B&W guide to help you.

I was granted three extensions for my PIP review this year. The PIP helpline call handlers are authorised to grant two extensions without needing to refer to a Case Manager. Think I was given two weeks each time in the first two calls then on the third call I was transferred to a helpful Case Manager who asked me how much more time I needed and she granted it without any fuss. My reason was the delay in securing access to a benefits advisor and the time needed to work with one ounce they became available to complete the review form together. Think I had two months extra time in the end.
