Separate ESA and JSA Payments on today’s bank statement.

I usually receive my ESA (CB Support Group) every 2 weeks for £281.10. However, on checking my bank statement today, the ESA is £261.03 and I’ve received a separate payment of £20.07 JSA. This is the first time I’ve seen this. It adds up to the same amount but I’m not in receipt of have applied for JSA. Please can anyone explain why this has happened? Thank you.

I have just had this yesterday.. two seperate payments, one ESA, one JSA. Just wondering if Bunty contacted DWP and found out what it's about?

I had this happen to me yesterday and I phoned the DWP just now and got through to an adviser straight away, which is a miracle. They told me it was a computer error and that it had been sorted. They also said that the computers sent out P45s as part of the error too and to throw it away and not worry about it. They assured me the next payment will be back to normal.
