Using information from a previous medical

Using information from a previous medical was created by SallyCarrera
I've recently filled in and sent an IB50 on mental health grounds. My last medical was a year ago, which the ATOS doctor cut short after just a few minutes because the medical was so distressing for me that she said to continue with the medical would be detrimental to my health.
Is it likely they may look back at this and use it to decide whether or not to call me for medical this time? Or is it more likely they will solely use the information given on the form I've just sent back?
Thanks for reading.

Hi,

It's impossible for us to speculate. It's up to the Decision Maker dealing with your claim to decide.

However, if your condition hasn't changed and as your medical was cut short last time, a medical may not be necessary this time.

Good luck.

Jim

Hi Jim,
yes I know you can't give individual advice I'm sorry if it came across that way. I just wondered if it was possible they look at previous information or if each time a form gets sent in they start from scratch. From what you said it sounds like there is a chance they may look at previous records so with any luck the person looking at my claim will realise a medical isn't appropriate.
Many thanks for your help.
