Hi Pat, so sorry to hear that Jim and Pete are still poorly. How is Jim feeling today? What is the latest on Pete? How are you coping? It really concerns me to see you posting as you need some rest too. What good will you be to Jim when he gets home if you get poorly too!

You take care now. Put your feet up and do something for YOU in between visiting.

Hi Caz and Gaz and All,

This a a copy of an e-mail sent to Steve yesterday, after he e-mailed me yesterday to ask how we were.

Hospital names have been removed for obvious reasons.

Hi Steve,

Jim is now out of ICU and I am hoping that early next week he will be moved to our local hospital in ****** so that I don't have to stay in B & B, and can visit him from home. Hopefully by the end of next week, I hope to have him home. Our GP has already arranged for a Community Respiratory Nurse and Physiotherapist to treat Jim at home when he's discharged.

Thankfully, after my complaint last time he was in ********* Royal Infirmary, he has been looked after much better, although the cleanliness of the hospital leaves a lot to be desired. Our local hospital is much more modern and most of the doctors and nurses know Jim personally.

I'm not sure how Pete is. The last I heard from his wife Leah was that the suspected stroke was in a fact a viral infection in his brain. If I hear anything further I'll let you know.

Kind regards.

Pat x

Many thanks to you all for your concern and kind messages.
