Hi, Managed to get hold of a solicitor locally who will take the case on with legal aid and from what I hear, they are very good. Looking at my two dla forms rejecting my claim, they appear to be almost identical. Where I have clearly said that I cannot do something, they have said I can. I can only assume that they have looked at my previous claim and gone along with the "findings there".

I did follow your guidelines as to filling in the new claim form , but was still rejected. The solister has asked me to bring in all my claims and supporting documentation, which I will hope to obtain from the reumatologist etc etc.
I have an appointment to seen then in 2 weeks time and will ofcourse report back here as to what happened.

Regards

I think you should contact your consultant(s) and get medical evidence that way. If the DWP have enough evidence, they don't have to contact anyone.
