Q. Can I still complete a Form RM7 to request an independent assessment of my patient?

A. Form RM7 has been withdrawn from use. This form allowed certifying doctors to request an independent medical assessment of their patient if the patient was making a claim to benefit. This process is no longer necessary because the majority of patients making a new claim to Employment and Support Allowance undergo a medical assessment within a short period of time after making the claim to benefit.

What a load of bananas, a short period in my case was 21 weeks to the assessment, I am assured I am not alone, I HAVE HEARD OF PERIODS THAT DOUBLE THIS.

IT APPEARS THAT THE GOVERNMENT AND DWP HAVE WELL AND TRULY BOLTED THE DOORS TO THE GENUINE SICK AND DISABLED PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES. This shows a complete and biased attack on the credibility of our GP's Decisions.
