dla+incapacity for 8 years

hELLO EVERYONE,I am having panic attacks and eep depression at the very thought of another medical for these new benefits, mine are all really mental haealth based, so,I would like to know mif i lost my incapacity and was put on the basic esa payment would i also lose my DLA, CONFUSED DEPRESSED AND LONELY. HELP.

Hi jason 47, DLA and ESA are two different benefits with different qualifing criteria. And also the rules are again somewhat different for mental health claimants. Please try and seek face to face advice from a welfare rights officer, your local council building offices should be able to assisst or the local CAB. Has your GP been kept fully informed of your condition either by you or any hospital appointments you have had to attend? Try not to worry, Best Wishes
