Appeal

Having just sent appeal off should I be contacting my doctors and consultants now for reports etc or just wait until I hear back from them? I just want to be prepared. Many thanks

If you want to obtain additional medical evidence - which is definitely worth doing - then you need to contact doctors and consultants yourself.

Hi marie, further to what steve has alredy stated i would start getting your medical evidence ASAP, because it can take a few weeks to get hold of. If you are under the hospital your GP should have copies of any consultations you have had or you could contact the consultants secretary at the hospital. Hope this helps, Best Wishes
