To Much Pain Will Kill Y ou In The End
Any Body Noticed! was created by terdun9
Hi there i was wonding if anybody has noticed this,
somebody i know as pointed out that it seems to be if you are waiting for a letter from DWP for any claim be it DLA or ESA or any other simple claim that is processing,
It looks like if you has been successful you get the letter in the week. but if you get the letter on a Saturday it looks like you have failed in getting what has been applied for.
Is this just a Coincidence

I think it is just coincidence, I received a letter last Saturday informing me that my request to look again at my daughter's DLA had been followed up and that said request was successful.
Sorry!
Sorry!

Debt collectors and courts tend to post stuff out on Fridays for delivery on Saturdays. Its designed to frustrate and scare you over the weekend.
I've just looked at all ( 15 ) of my negative DWP letters and they were delivered on random days. No real pattern for me. Perhaps I'm not worthy of being frustrated ( or I cant be frustrated any more then I already am ) !

Wednesday is my bad news day.
I was informed that my IB was stopped, and informed the DWP will not change the decision, on a Wednesday. I also lost my appeal hearing on a Wednesday.
It's all probably coincidence but it could be the way your local Jobcentreplus office operates. For example, they might routinely persecute ESA claimants on a Monday, DLA claimants on a Tuesday, etc.

I don't know about the days of letters, not had many, but I do know that contact centres do not send out letters any more, they are done centrally. (don't know about Job Centres)
