Who decides ... was created by chafur47
I am really confused now.
Who decides who goes on ESA or the Support Group?
Or will all of us who are chronically ill be put on ESA, then, up to us to fight to get on the Support Group?
I looked up the doc here about Transfer dates to ESA, and could not find the dates for my area in London.
I phoned DWP last week and asked what would happen to my IS and severe disablement allowance etc, all they could say is that nothing has been sent to me about that yet.
I asked again, what would happen to my benefits and got no coherent answer.
Confused, and overwhelmed...
Thanks

With regards to the migration from IB/IS to ESA, it begins next month in two Pilot areas (Aberdeen and Burnley) with migration in full next year. If you search the forum for the word 'migration' there is a lot of information on this topic.

Thanks Pete. The reason I asked those questions is because I read all the info available, but was overwhelmed and can't grasp anything.
There is no clarity and no transparency and the info is confusing, probably my brain fog.
