Can I ask on what grounds was ESA refused? Can I take it you don't live alone?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Denni
There is another thread discussing the options available when your IB has been refused.
www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/forum?func=view&catid=10&id=36612
From our research, making a new application for ESA while you wait for your appeal, appears to be the best of the choices available.
As to why you have received the form, whilst I joked about it before, there are DWP employees who try and help claimants, and I suspect it is one of those who have sent the claim forms to you.

If someone is in receipt Of IB which is contribution based, but fail the PCA, aren't they entitled to apply for contribution based ESA? Have wondered about this before.
