sick notes until medical esa assessment?

Hiya,

Wondering if anyone can help, recently applied for ESA. About 5 weeks ago now. do I have to keep sending in sick notes from my GP all the time till my medical assessment with ATOS?

Hi there,

i would say keep sending in your sick notes from your GP as any delay will mean payments may cease. Hope this is ok

You will need to send Fit notes until you receive a decision with regard to your claim.

In an effort to change the populations view of work, to a positive one :) we no longer have Sick notes but Fit to Work notes.
