Re medical, New information

Hi can anyone help me; When i sent my esa form off approx 5 weeks ago. i was due to have a major operation on my knee; and listed the surgeons name, hospital on the form.

however after 2nd opinion have been told the operation is not the correct one to be done.

I have changed hospitals and surgeons and have to have a knee replacement. my medical is next week.

Will they have contacted previous surgeon, my doctor.

Or do i take the letter from new surgeon, stating operation now having.

I am in a real panic, because i told my doctor how unhappy i was with my previous consultant for the operatin i was going to have done. He contacted the surgeon and told him i was unhappy and would be asking for a referal to another hospital and surgeon.

Hi neilw

Always take the most up to date information on your condition. They will have contacted the surgeon who you put on the form

Basically you are now waiting for a different operation and the details of the new one should be updated.
