Am I correct in thinking that during the 4-6 weeks the process takes to complete and send the forms and then the time also for you to attend a medical and recieve a decision that you remain on your previous level of benefits
i.e. would one stay on Incap and Income Support as well as disability payments at the same rate whilst the transfer takes place?

Hi,
During the migration process, until a decision is made on a claim, one will stay on the benefit one was on (such as IB etc). This includes any time taken for a medical.
Once the decision is made, then depending on the decision, one will wither be transferred onto ESA (WRAG or Support Group) or found fit for work as the case maybe. At that time ones IB claim ceases. In practice though the change occurs a week or two after the decision is made to give chance for the award letter etc to arrive.
