Welfare reform bill - does this mean no hope?

I am in a similar situation Mel - I probably would have accepted WRAG until this new 12 month ruling came about, now I'll have to try and get onto the Support Group, and if I don't get on it then I'll be living off my savings for the next few years.......

I realise just how divisive the benefit system is. They will have us fighting amongst ourselves whilst they bring in even more draconian rules.

Hi Sfros and Rachel, it really is stressful isn't it - all this uncertainty? It is not as if we want to be ill. Can't they realise this? Obviously not.

Mel, as far as I am aware, DLA is safe but I don't know much about the change to PIP.

I do know that there is a worry that the mobility component may be lost by people in care including the elderly and children.

I have lost my child maintenance and my eldest is due to go to university next year.

I don't own my home, have debts not savings and three more children to bring up.

No one starts out in this mess, life happens.

But the poorest always get hit the hardest.

This sounds really bleak. I don't know what to say - it is just so unfair.
