I realise just how divisive the benefit system is. They will have us fighting amongst ourselves whilst they bring in even more draconian rules.

I do know that there is a worry that the mobility component may be lost by people in care including the elderly and children.
I have lost my child maintenance and my eldest is due to go to university next year.
I don't own my home, have debts not savings and three more children to bring up.
No one starts out in this mess, life happens.
But the poorest always get hit the hardest.
Best wishes,
Rachel

The changes referred to are specific to ESA, however, the Welfare Reform Bill will also introduce Personal Independance Payments (PIP) as a replacement for DLA.Me and my husband are both in our late forties and my husband has an unemployed daughter, and these savings are all that we have, saved up over years. I have not looked at any topics on here relating to DLA because I assumed that was safe. Is the DLA going too, for anyone who has a partner working, or limited savings?
There's a guide to what we currently know about PIP in The Members Only area. See here .

This sounds really bleak. I don't know what to say - it is just so unfair.
