CAB - no one available to take your call

Hi there, I' ve not posted before, but want to share my experience with CAB.
I too didn't feel able to go to a drop in session, but I was in town, ( on one of my occasional visits,) and one very helpful person behind the desk gave me a compliment slip and asked me to write my request down ther and then, ( which was to make an appointment to help me with my DLA form.)
I gave my address and phone number, she told me they would treat it as though I'd written to them.
I received a phone call and a two-hour appointment was made for me.
I am now waiting for a response to my claim.. ..
