Based on previous posts, the date in November is the result of limitations in the DWP payment systems, in as much as it can only handle one payment at a time.Hi when i got my letter to say i was going to get esa on the page that said this is the amount you will get from this date ,the date i get that amount from and to is only 5 weeks long what happens after that date i was told by one advisor it was the time they had to get you transfered and another said it was a standard letter does anyone know or had this themsleves.i was transfered from ib to esa.there was no review date either on my letter but was told this was not my review date.very confussed
thanks in advance
As we understand it, the date in November will be when the Christmas Bonus is paid to claimants, once this has gone through the system, claimants normal payments will continue as usual, and without interuption. Everyone should then receive a new letter of entitlement.
It worth noting that your ESA payments cannot be stopped unless you fail the ESA medical (WCA). So even if your letter has an end date on it, this does not mean that your ESA will stop on this date.
Hope this explains it.

DWP will take that into account though and pay accordingly.

I'm pretty certain that the day of the week that ESA is paid will depend on your National Insurance Number.
