I can't bear to call you wickedwitch, so just a hello and a thank you for describing your successful, though i suspect, overly drawn out journey to the support group.
Your account is so well-written and will hopefully offer hope and guidance to others.
I would be interested to know if you feel that your eligibility for the support group was clear before they reconsidered - or do you think your appeal letter provided additional information or clarity?
If the former is the case - it really is such a shame you were subjected to all the additional distress.
Well done and best wishes
Hi Catherine! Thank you for your comments about my post...in answer to your question I feel 100% certain that my eligability for the support group would have been completely clear before they reconsidered...my letter simply reiterated what I had already told them on my original claim form...and of course my letter also pointed out several examples of how this would have been very obvious during my atos medical. I feel that they were simply hoping that they could place me in the WRAG group without me fighting my corner!..best wishes to you
