Mod edit - Martin, please do not use 'text speak' when you post messages. I have edited the above posting but any further ones will be deleted as per the forum faq's.

Picking up on people's specific difficulties and directly linking them to relevant descriptors is really helpful. I think the trouble with those specific to the support group are they only cover difficulties at the very extreme end of the spectrum. (Far too extreme in my opinion!)
I have a problem with social anxiety that can totally disable me in a work type environment, though am usually fine with family and a few very good friends. I eveven merrily chat to complete strangers some days, when I wouldn't dream of it on others. (I also have a mood disorder).
Have you considered contacting Mind to let them know how the unfair system has effected the therapeutic community you belong to?
I know that Mind are doing a lot of work behind the scenes to try and make sure that fluctuating conditions are taken into account properly in the WCA.
Mind regularly blogs on all sorts of mental health topics including welfare reform and always looking for campaigners too.

did i maybe put the letter u instead of the word you, or ur instead of your?
im sure the whole thing would not have been text speak.
it was a genuine mistake that im very sorry about, my me/cfs causes brain fog & it must have been a simple laps & i will try not to let it happen again.
seems a bit pety to be honest, i dont see how the odd word would cause unreasonable difficulties for people using screenreaders.

Hi Martin
I have read through your post as deleted posts are retained for moderators and the site owner Steve Donnison to read through.
There was a large amount of "Text Speak" in it, not the occasional word. I can however understand that you didn't intend this to happen.
As you said it causes problems for those mods who use Screen Readers and deletion of such posts has been approved by Steve Donnison.
If you have any further queries please contact Steve at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
May I also draw your attention to the recent post by our mod bros58 below.

Hi All,
Just a polite reminder to Members old and new.
All the Moderators help on the Forum on a totally voluntary basis.
They also have medical conditions and resulting limitations to deal with themselves.
Our function is not to offer a personal "Welfare Rights Advisory Service", even though we endeavour to help as much as we can.
It is apparent that some Members are not fully reading the Guides in the orange MEMBERS ONLY area, even when directed towards them. HERE. :
www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants
These Guides are there for your information and enlightenment, and in some cases if read thoroughly, would negate the need to post individual questions on the Forum.
The same applies to the new FAQ's thread, which has recently been updated, at the top of the yellow "Spotlights" section above the Forum. Many of your questions will be answered, if the time is taken to read this thread. HERE. :

Thankyou all in advance, for your continuing co-operation.
Best Wishes
bro58
