a friend of mine wanted to know if her husband would be eligible for support group as he has bad epilepsy. he has been on icapacity benefit for over 20 years and is now 61, was born in 1950. would he even get a migration letter to esa considering his age?

Hi kat,
It is the limitations caused by the medical condition, and not the condition itself, so I could not give a definitive answer to your question.
I have posted this before, but have no idea about ESA etc ... only that I found my 19 year old son dead in bed from a seizure so it is very serious but, like bro says, he was 19 and a teenager and otherwise as fit as the proverbial,so doubt he would have been put in SG if he was still here. But he did have regular attacks and they were very bad.Has he tried Pension Credits or is he too late date wise?
