DLA appeal didn't go well!

I had my DLA appeal yesterday for reinstatement of my previous high rate mobility & lower rate care award which didn't go as well as i hoped!
The mobility part wasn't too bad but the care part was a nightmare & the question i wanted to ask is if my appeal is unsuccessful, can i make another DLA claim right away or would i have to wait a set amount of time, ie 6 months etc?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

There's no wait time so you could submit a new claim immediately.Hi everyone,

I'm assuming from your post you didn't get the decision at the end of the tribunal, but it will be posted to you?
Its not always possible to judge the outcome from how the tribunal panel dealt with your appeal. Some panels are pleasant, considerate and helpful, others are not!
Even though you felt it didn't go well, its possible that you will get a better result than you expected.
With DLA its the help needed from someone else and not the medical condition alone that might lead to an award. If you do reapply you should submit evidence of the help you need. The B&W guides, if worked through will assist you with claiming.
Regards
Michael

Even though i have well documented musculo-skeletal problems with my right ankle, left knee & right hip which greatly restrict my mobility & can only walk slowly with the use of 2 elbow crutches!
I suppose i'll just have to make another claim!
