Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Most Tribunals are decided by the panel asking the claimant questions about their health and circumstances, just stay calm, and if you can, take a moment to think about your answer before you give it.
Good luck

Hi Katerina,
As a former. WRO and Disability Specialist on DLA Tribunals, I totally agree with Gordon's advice.
Over the years, many claimants have asked me for tips on how to win their tribunal, and my answer has been there aren't any, as each appellants case is different.
As Gordon says, try to remain calm, and think about the answers you give when asked by the Tribunal Judge or the Medical Member on the panel.
For DLA Tribunals, there will be also be a third panel member who has good knowledge of the mobility and or care needs of people with chronic illness or disability, and that person may also be disabled themselves.
Whilst Tribunals are a Court of Law, they are very informal, with the panel sitting around a table and you at the other side.
If you haven't already done so, then check out the guide on 'The Best Possible Incapacity for Work Appeals' in the members only area.

Best of luck
