Hi

i've just sent off my ESA50 with medical support documents enclosed.
I've also sent copies of the medical support documents to my income support claim office and the dwp address which notified me that 'my benefits are changing'.

Do i need to contact DLA at all concerning transfer into ESA ? Do you advise that i send them copies of the medical support documents i sent with the ESA50 or is the DLA basically out of the picture and a separate entity in regard to moving onto ESA (other than the effect on DLA answering various questions can have.)

thanks for your guidance

Your ESA50 needs to be returned to ATOS Healthcare, there should have been a pre-paid envelope enclosed with the ESA50 that you should have used.

You don't need to contact the DLA unit until you have a Decision on your transfer, and even then, just to inform them of the change in benefit.

Just re-read your post, you can probably ignore the first paragraph of my first reply :)
