Hi guys,
Just reading some of the posts here and something is confusing me with transfer letters,
When my friend was transferred in August, her letter was dated 27/08/11 which she received on 31/08/11. It took five days to get to her. She then got her esa50 questionnaire on 12th sept and she had 6 weeks to complete and return, actually her deadline was 27/10/11 so a few days over 6 weeks. Some on here received their letters dated 29th and received yesterday. Does this mean they have speeded up the process of the transfer then? I thought they used second class for all letters so how long after this should the esa 50 be arriving, it is eactly 4 weeks to complete and return or do you get a few extra days like people had with 6 weeks?
It all seems really confusing now, or is it me?
Also, why are they taking so long to make decisions now? Some people are waiting 6 weeks plus is this becuase of the heavy load?
Just baffled by the whole thing. Doesn't take a lot to confuse me.

One now only gets a four week 'window' instead of the previous six week 'window' from receipt of the ESA50 to getting it returned and received by ATOS medical services.

Obviously current migration volumes may be affecting timescales both in being called forward for a Work Capability Assessment and/or a decision being made.

I am sorry but we unable to comment upon 'your friends' case or situation.

Pete
