Just thought that I would tell everyone what happend yesterday at my local Citizens Advice yesterday.
I have been migrated into ESA from IB and put into Wrag without a medical.I decided to appeal using your information and guidance from your website,{which cab thought was very professional}.
I have submited my appeal through Citizens Advice and they are sending it for me.
What the CAB could not understand was that I receive DLA at present at higher rate mobility and lower rate care and it seems that this had not been taken into consideration at all,and finally they told me that that nearly all appeals are going to tribunal, before being altered, because JCP cannot handle the sheer workload and are snowed under.
May I thank Steve and all the moderators for your excellent information and advice.I will just keep my fingers crossed now.!!!!

Hi,
There is a guide called 'Disability Living Allowance Appeals' which is accessible from this page:
www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants
which explains the whole process for DLA appeals.
