As last posting days are fast approaching, do the relevant departments at atos/dwp take this into consideration for posting receving esa50 questionnaires, and also say if questionnaire was due to be delivered to us on 26th december, but being a bank holiday as well as the tuesday after, will the relevant departments take that into consideration as well with the time constraints with completing and returning the questionnaire. Just wondered what the guidelines were on this, and if others were wondering the same thing. Surely we cannot be penalised for bank holiday dates and the problems this causes because of it being christmas.

I'm not sure they care about Bank Holidays/last posting - I received my ESA50 on the 2nd December, and it says it has to be returned by the 2nd Jan (Bank Hliday)!! Also bearing in mind the Xmas post, in reality I'll want to get it posted off by the 20th December, so in effect they're only giving me 18 days to get it completed - Soz for tagging this on to your query, but I had logged in to ask the same question as it seems unfair that NO consideration has been given to the Xmas period and Bank Holidays

Hi

This is not a matter for B&W, but for the government departments concerned.

Many thanks
