ESA review

Well my review after 2 years of being on the ESA. There letter warned me that they would see if my condition had improve. Well NO it is worse. But the stress of the form again has took its toll. But posted by my son. Will I need to go for another medical????

Hi MC,

It is not possible to say whether or not you will have to attend a face to face assessment.

It will depend on whether ATOS or the DWP DM feels that they have enough evidence before them, incuding the ESA50 that you have just returned, if not, then they could require you to attend a "medical".

They may well contact your G.P. using an ESA113 form for further information, see copy of this form here :

It may be prudent to discuss the possiblity of him having to complete the ESA113 now, to gain feedback on comments that he may make on it.

Thank you for your reply. FUNNY not it was atos who medially retired me from work. Also am in a power chair 80% of the time so would need transport? Oh well take one day at a time.
