I have just received my appeal form to fill in after no change of decision from WRAG to SUPPORT group

My mental health social worker as just gone and recommends I go to the hearing and he will come with me
but my problem is panic attacks I am scared stiff.
he spoke to the welfare rights persons at his works and they to recommend I also go to the hearing.

Has anybody NOT gone and been put into the support group with metal illness, or course I will be sending in letters from MHT GP and MYSELF.

Hi C,

I understand your predicament, however statistics show that appellants have a far greater success rate if they appear in person at an "oral hearing" than they do if they don't appear, and it is a "paper hearing".

Simply because the Tribunal members get to see how your limitations affect you,"first hand" and question you personnaly.

I am afraid it is only a decision that you can make.
