The Physical descriptors (questions 1-10) require an underlying physical condition to be present in order to score points, however the same does not apply for ther Mental Health questions (11-17).

That said, there are expectations on the part of the ATOS "doctor" as to how they will look at each question, that is is why I referred you to the guide and handbook.

If you believe you can argue that you meet the Mental Health descriptors for other reasons, then you are entitled to do so, just as long as you understand where ATOS will be coming from.
