severe disibility premium was created by lassie12
I am receiving esa benifit and have been awarded dla from 10/8/2011 someone said i should be able to claim severe disiability premium . Can i claim it if my sister who is a co owner lives with me and receives job seekers allowance only

You need to meet the following requirements
•live alone
•no one gets Carer's Allowance for looking after you
•you get the middle or highest care component of Disability Living Allowance

I am getting the middle care component rate and no one is getting careres allowance for me but as i had stated my sister lives with me as a co owner does that rule me out of the premium
