Dreaded transfer letter arrived was created by susan
Hi all. After last having an appeal for IB in 2009 and no medical since I successfully beat Atos and the incompetant nurse who interviewed me who must have been blind on the day, the dreaded brown envelope arrived on my birthday last week. It was the last thing I needed at the moment as I am meant to be moving house and now I am unsure as to my financial picture and worried about losing my buyers if this process takes a long time.
The thing is they have my old tel no down on the letter and as I get very anxious talking to these people as I do not trust them since they took my benefit off me, I have not had the courage to phone them. I did actually ask them last time to write and contact me via post but we all know what they are like
Could people who have been through it explain how bad it really is and have I cause to worry? I suffer from fibromyalgia and SAD/depression/anxiety and winter times horrendous for my condition. Really can't cope with stress in any form any more and a good friend of mine suddenly died last week out of the blue. The timing as usual by Atos is rubbish.
Many thanks for any help/comments on how to deal with this and how it works etc would be much appreciated.

If you do not wish to deal with DWP/ATOS by phone, you don't *have* to give them your new number.
