Hi yesterday I have been given a new diagnosis to add to the list, rhumatoid arthritis. This is on top of the mental health problems I have. I am having a lot of problems with pain, fatigue, and holding and griping things. At the moment, trying hard to keep a diary as to how this affects me day to day at different times of the day, as it affecting sleep as well, and needing help to do the basics. It is having a massive impact on my mental health and I am trying to get my head around this. I am due to start medication in the next month, as i now have a physical condition to add to the mental health, would this be classed as a change of circumstances?

If you have been given a new diagnosis then you should inform, the DWP if you are claiming sickness/disability benefits.
How much difference the new diagnosis makes depends on the specific benefits claimed and/or what effects this new diagnosis has/may have on your day to day care/mobility needs, or your ability to do certain tasks.
