I am also going to ask my Chiropractor who sees me every 2-4 weeks.
I simply would not be able to take the strain of an appeal.
I have been on long term ICB for 8 years.
Also I am in pain all day.

sorry if this is covered but I dould not find anything. I am seeing my GP on Wednesday and will ask him for a letter. He hasn't worked in the UK system for quite some time and normally just writes a list of illnesses, Fibro, Hypo, chronic pain, partiimpingement, depression, IBS, colitis panic attacks etc and drugs prescribed. Are there any resources/guidance for GP letter for multiple, variable conditions? I am going through the guides.

Hi B,
Even though it will invariably help if your G.P. provides you with a letter confirming your medical conditions, and the severity of said conditions.
It would also help if he could may referal to the limitations that you suffer due to the above, with respect to the qualifying ESA descriptors, as here :
Qualifying for the WRAG
Qualifying for the Support Group
If your G.P. is unwilling to refer to the descriptors, then you should ensure that you do so yourself.
The same of course applies to your Chiropractor, or any other treating HCP.

We have always discussed with our Dr's the limitations we have because of our illnesses. They also have on record our own typed up list of what happens with each illness and how they restrict our lives. They have always found this useful too as they can say what illnesses we have however without our input they wouldn't know how they affect us. I hope that is of some help to anyone claiming/transferring etc to welfare benefits
