Income related AND Contributions based

Like many migrants from incap/Is I have been given an entitlement to both elements of ESA. Namely an Income related and a Contributions based element. the award letter makes that clear. However, when it comes to free prescriptions and dental treatment etc confusion seems to reign.
Having called the DWP I have had three different answers.
One says simply he doesnt know ( Why is he in a job answering the DWP phonelines) the other says she is sure contributions based takes precedence so I would have to pay for prescriptions dental treatment and some housing benefit etc and the other woman said as long as I am getting some element of IR ESA I am covered for what were formerly "passport benefits" as if I was still on income support.
I get the Middle rate Care and HRM of DLA and assume the IR ESA is taking over the payments of my severe disability premium formerly paid through Income Support.
Anyone who can give a definitive reply on this it would be appreciated.

If you get an income-related element, even if it is just a penny a week, that is sufficient to claim passported benefits such as free dental treatment and glasses vouchers.

As you receive the income-based element of ESA you are entitled to the full range of passport benefits, which includes free prescriptions and dental treatment.

The income-based ESA simply replaces the income support to which you were previously entitled.

Thanks guys I suspected so but talking to the DWP it's like putting the proverbial ten rabbis in a room and getting ten different answers.
