I would really like some advice as i am really anxious about my appeal
I appealed against being put into WRAG in December.
I got a letter of acknowledgment few days letter
As of yet i have not heard anything and its been 3 months
I am really concerned about this as evrytime i ring its we're dealing with it and someone will be in touch
I am also concerned that i get ESA contribution based will that now cese in April as i have been receiving this from the start of ESA
Its so confusing and am beginning to think that its been delayed to get me off CB ESA
would really appreciate any feedback

Hi A,
If you have had a letter of acknowledgent of receipt of your appeal, besides "pestering" the DWP there is little more that you can do, besides making an official complaint, see :
Complaining to the DWP
The DWP do seem to be somewhat "gridlocked" at the moment, and time taken to process different aspects of claims and appeals is taking much longer than the norm. This of course will vary from area to area.
With respect to the 365 day time limitation for receipt of Contributary ESA in the WRAG, please see :
12 Month Limit for ESA(CB)
& :
12 Month Limit for ESA (CB) – Implementation
Hope this is of help.

thanks for your reply
Ive just had a phone call and been advised that they will not change the decison and will need to go to a tribunal
I honestly dont know why they did not change the original decison as they have got more than enough information from my specialist and GP
I asked if ill still continue receiving ESA and was told that "i dont know and need to wait and see"
i dont understand why they are making things so complex and difficult
Thanks in Advance
