DLA is a totally different benefit. Did you have a medical when transferring from IB to WRAG or just a letter advising?

Whilst DLA and ESA are different benefits, it is possible for an adverse ESA Decision to affect a DLA claim or at the very least, cause a re-assessment.
For this to happen, the DLA unit would need to believe that there is a significant discrepancy between what has been recorded at the ESA medical and the claimants last DLA review, in those limited areas where there is an overlap.
Historically these have been mobility and continence, however, with changes to the mobility test for ESA, the case is less clear cut as there is now a divergence of the descriptors.
Given that you are in the WRAG without a medical, the chances are low that your DLA will be reviewed.
Good luck with the appeal
