Tax Credits For Disabled People (Self-Employment) was created by Asbo
One option I've considered is Tax Credits for Disabled People being self-employed. But because of my disabilities and the type of work I would do I wouldn't get much money at all. At the moment I have heard I could try WTC for disabled people, but this is changing and they have already got rid of the 50+ element (or will be as from April).
I have tried to find out about self-employment for disabled people eg only working a few hours a week under Universal Credit but can't get any information, apart from they'll (probably) be assuming a minimum wage for self-employed people, even where there is one, and that they are also having an earnings disregard for disabled people (provided they pass the WCA), so it looks as if the only option would be working a few hours a week (which is all I could manage anyway) so you don't go over your disregard.
Any advice on this would be most welcome.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

I'm afraid we do not advise on Tax Credits and the like, maybe some of the forum members will comment.

Yes but soon tax and benefits will be under the one Universal Credit and so this is why I ask, so I can at least have some idea.
Thank you
