WRAG problem was created by Dee
Hi
I have just got my ESA thing back and it says I must attend work related interviews or whatever they are, but part of my problem is that I haven't left the house by myself for six years. There is no way I can get there. I live by myself and I don't go out or use the phone. I am seeing a psychiatrist and a cpn who comes to my house, but it isn't getting better any time soon.
I don't know what to do. I can't get there - they know I can't get there as I put on the form I can't leave the house, and they have awarded me ESA so they must have looked at the form. If I could do what they are asking me to do I would do it - but if I could do what they are asking me to do I wouldn't need ESA in the first place.
Is there anything I can do? Thank you for any advice.

Hi Dee,
You can request that the interviews are carried out in your home. I don't know how many people have had this request granted, I'm afraid.

Dee
Contact your JC+ Advisor, their name should be on the letter they have sent you re the appointment, explain your situation and ask if they can hold the WFI in your home, or failing that, over the phone.

Thank you for the very speedy replies!
I don't use the phone but I will certainly ask that they do them at my home. I have been crying about that since the letter arrived - thank you so much.

If you can get a health professional (GP, consultant, CPN) to back up your request it certainly can't hurt!
