ESA50 still not sent was created by kittygirl
Hi
Although I have been a member for while, I have'nt needed help until now.
I moved home on the 7th Feb, within a few weeks I had a letter saying that I was being transferred to ESA, on the 8th March a lady rang to explain what happens and that I must fill in the form, problem is I have still not received it, what should I do. I have been on IB for 22 years due to spina bifida and other painful problems I am on a morphine based drug now, should i ring them or do you think this is the DWP being a bit sneeky.
I would be very grateful for any help.

Hi, kittygirl,
When the DWP rang to tell me about my transfer they said it would be at least 3 weeks until I got the form, but I got it after a fortnight.
Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think it's the DWP being sneaky, there are several things that could be causing the hold-up, not to criticise the postal service or anything!
If twere me, I'd ring the DWP and say you've not received the form.
Again, if I'm wrong, someone will correct me.

Just to confirm what Hardyards has said, I know of several people who have not received the ESA50, so you should phone your local DWP office for an update.
If it has been sent, and you have not received it, you should confirm the call in writing, to make sure it is registered on the DWP system as missing.
