Mrs Hurtyback, No sadly I didn't see the need to request the paper work because I had been placed in the support group and thought at least I would have six months or more. With the stress of waiting for the decision I felt some sense of relief, foolish as this was.
Am I still able to request this information even after a month from the DWP decision?
Thanks.
Yes, you are still able to request your ESA85, or any other ESA forms used in your previous WCA.

This is good advice - I used the PDA and printed off the copy to send to the DWP. The PDA automatically fits what you type into the space available so you don't end up with reams of extra sheets as you would do handwriting it. I would also recommend returning the form via some sort of recorded delivery so that you have proof you sent it in good time.

If the WCA medical assessment was carried out in November would the period of entitlement start from then?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Unfortunately, it is not that simpleIf the WCA medical assessment was carried out in November would the period of entitlement start from then?

As it is you get all the period on the "assessment" rate (or your old benefit if you are transferring, I assume) and then the 365 days on ESA(WRAG rate). Or have I misunderstood (again)?
"Unfortunately"? Surely if it were counted from the date of claiming, then you would have fewer days on ESA?Karlo wrote:
