esa national insurance

has any one come across this problem lost my appeal for esa so i applied under a new condition and got esa awarded was told it would be back dated to 11feb then a couple of days later i got a letter saying im not getting esa because i havent paid enough national insurance so i rang esa and was told if i closed the gap in my national insurance i would get paid so rang tax office they checked and told me my national insurance was up to date does any one know what i can do to get round this im not getting anything my wife works
