Appeal letter was created by ROSIE75
I sent my GL24 appeal form off 2 weeks ago by recorded delivery, and, as of yet, have not had any letter off the DWP saying that they have received it. Is this normal and could it be a good sign of something (although I'm not holding my breath)? Do I need to contact them because I should have heard something by now? I did receive a letter off them saying they had received a letter off me requesting my medical records etc., which I sent to them the day after the appeal form was sent off but nothing else was mentioned. Any help would be appreciated.

At the momment it seems to be taking the DWP more than the normal 2 weeks to respond to notice of appeal, however, their problems should not be allowed to impact on you, so I would give them a call to make sure that they have received your request.

I agree with Gordon. You should also check out the Royal Mail site to see if your Recorded Delivery has been received and signed for. You can do that HERE
