wording on statement of reasons form was created by robinsmaid
Hi,
I just wondered if someone knew what this wording meant.
I have been transferred from IB to WRAG ESA following a medical. I got a copy of the medical report and asked for a statement of reasons.
My medical report stated that I would be fit to return to work in 3 months.
The statement of reasons came on a LT54 form and said Conversion Decision. Am I right in assuming this in the Decision Makers report?
if so, It seems that the DM has taken a more resonable view of my illness, relating to a letter sent by my specialist. It says, at the bottom of the report, re refer in 12 months.
Does this mean that I won't be reassessed for 12 months??? ??

The LT54 is used by the DWP DM to document the transfer process, so its as close as I suspect you will get to a DM report.
Based on what you have written it does sound like the DM has overriden the ATOS prognosis, but you should bear in mind that these are recommendations, also the re-assessment process is normally started early so that it is the next Decision that corresponds to the recommendation date.
Hopefully you will get most of the year before your next evaluation.

Hi,
Thanks,I understand that the medical report is a recommendation, but someone must have the final say, so they know when to send out the next esa50, is that not the DM ??

Yes, it is the DWP DM who has the final say.
