Delays in hearing ESA & DLA Appeals

I am reading a lot here about delays in hearings and other benefit matters on B&W but I notice you cater more for the mainland and not a lot for Northern Ireland.
We here just to name but 1 point at a tribunal in Northern Ireland, we could not go and watch any as all are held in private. I am just making you aware a lot of things you put on do not really help the Northern Ireland people who have joined for help and advice.

Hi Willie,
Although Northern Ireland is part of the UK, the social security system is not always the same. The delays in hearing ESA and DLA Appeals thread in Spotlights are provided from Hansard who do not list Northern Ireland in their statistics. I cannot find individual statistics for NI. Perhaps your MP could assist you in providing them?
As I'm sure you're aware benefits in Northern Ireland are administered by the Social Security Agency part of the Department for Social Development. Although much of legislation is the same as our Department for Work and Pensions, there are some differences.
Our moderators do their best to answer queries on IB/ESA and DLA and appeals in general, but we can only do this in general and not individual advice on any of the four countries which form the UK.
All our moderators are volunteers and have chronic illness/disability themselves so often they are not able to help moderate the forum.
As stated in the notes what the forum is for, written by Steve Donnison :
Share questions and results for DLA & ESA claim forms, medicals and appeals. PLEASE NOTE: this forum is provided as a courtesy for members to share experiences, we don’t guarantee an answer to your query.
NI members can find more details on benefits etc on the Social Security Agency website
However, as bro has advised please feel free to contact Steve on your point if you wish.
Best wishes
Jim
