Contribution related

Hi I have been reading the threads every day, and it seems a lot of members are having a really awful time of it all. especially chris. must be really frustrating. it is made worse by not being able to have face to face contact with a human being.

when you have time please could you let me know, if the contribution related, ESA starts from the assessment phase, Oct 2010, or when I was actually placed in the WRAG February 2011, after a medical.

I understand that the decision, and payment, should be back-dated to the first day of the 14th week of your claim. I think the clock starts counting at this time - but I would be glad of confirmation (or otherwise) from one of the more knowledgeable mods

Thanks Mrs H, but I think I have not explained myself clearly. I want to know whether the 14 week assessment phase, (insurance contributions) count towards your year of contribution related WRAG, or did the year start from when I was placed in WRAG.

No, it's OK, you made yourself clear. As I said, I thinkthat the 365 days start from the first day of the 14th week of your claim.

Ok Thank you, So as I was placed in WRAG Feb 2011, and then the SG March this year, which was back dated to Aug 2011, am I right in assuming that I have was only in WRAG for 6 months, and that I have 6 months left. I am asking because I know that when my next medical comes, I am sure they will place me back in WRAG, so I just wonder if I have 6 months of CR Wrag left. Sorry this is so dragged out.
