I paid a full stamp when I left school and started work in 1971 until I had a breakdown in health in 1984. Since then I have continuously received a small works pension, and Incap. Benefit. From 1995 I have also received DLA (care and mobility). I am now 8 years from State Pension age - will I receive the full/basic state pension as so many years have been on benefit and not employed? I have been told the necessary 'stamp' is paid by the DHSS/DWP while drawing benefit and therefore the state pension, when paid, will not be reduced because of this. Is this correct please? Thanks David
