General help was created by ROSIE75
Hi, just wanted to thank Pusscatsmum and Gordon for their advice yesterday regarding MP's.
Does anyone know how to get in touch with a welfare officer?
Also, I am at the first stage of my appeal (the reconsideration stage) and I wanted to send a letter to the DLA explaining in detail that I feel I meet at least 2 of the descriptors for the support group. Now my dilemma is this: should I wait until I get my medical records sent to me in a fortnight and then send this letter with any other evidence from my doctor etc.. about any discrepancies found or should I just send this letter now, first, and then send other evidence later when I gather it together? Many thanks.

Hiya, thankyou.
Contact your Local Authority to see if they have a Welfare Officer Service, which they should do, or contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau.
If mobility is a problem demand a home visit.
