I recently had my medical for esa, My oh cam e with me,(he needed to push mt wheelchair)They know how far it is from the carparks/bus stops etc. to the med centre so bare in mind that if you have stated that you cannot walk very far it could conflict with how you got to the centre.I was asked how long the journey was, if my car is automatic as I drive short distances.I waited an hour before being seen so was quite poorly by the time we went in.The doc was non commital, neither friendly nor unfriendly so no false sence of security for me.I was asked alot of q's about my medication then had a medical. It took less than a week to hear from dwp. I think my case was reasonably straight forward with lots of had evidence from consultants. I took a photocopy of my esa50 and med evidence with me to the medical just in case the doc didn't have it (it can happen that they dont have all the info) good luck

Hi B,get it recorded or take a witness.
I have had a horrible medical report full of misquotes [phrase removed]..even the medical evidence I showed the so called medical professional was argued with..I have a spinal cord injury and not in the best of places physically and mentally but she put general health well omg! she also reduced me to a blubbering mass of tears..how can a nurse examine a spinal injury on a computer?? I also have prolapsed intervertabal discs and she interpreted this as pelvic inflammatory decease wtfeckk? I pointed this out to her on my MRI report but she was not for moving in fact she said im the medical professional here (clearly not)just hope u do not get a wrong one
regards

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

"I also have prolapsed intervertabal discs and she interpreted this as pelvic inflammatory decease wtfeckk?"
I suspect that this is related to the fact that both conditions are abbreviated in the same way. Say 'PID' to a gynaecologist and they will hear 'pelvic inlammatory disease', say it to an orthopod and they will hear 'prolapsed intervertebral disc'!
